June Safety Month was a resounding success, thanks to the dedication and hard work of our Safety Committee and community partners. Throughout the month, various activities and training sessions were conducted across several communities, ensuring that everyone had the opportunity to learn about important safety practices in a fun and engaging way.
In Mora, our event was a hit with training sessions led by EMTs on heat safety and safe pedestrian crossing. Participants had the unique experience of sitting in the ambulance and learning about the crucial role EMTs play in emergency situations.
Cambridge offered an exciting chance for individuals to explore fire, police, and ambulance rigs while engaging in conversations with service providers. This hands-on experience helped demystify the workings of these essential services and fostered a deeper understanding and appreciation of their roles.
Sandstone’s fire department put on an impressive display, presenting their uniform and providing a detailed tour of the fire rig.
Despite the rain in Marshall, we had enthusiastic participation in sessions facilitated by the police, ambulance, and fire services, making the event both fun and informative.
Pine City also hosted a fantastic event where local providers came together, allowing individuals to get inside the rigs and converse with fire, ambulance, and police personnel. The engagement and interaction at this event were phenomenal, making it a memorable experience for all who attended.
A special highlight of June Safety Month was our Safety Pledge. Many individuals and staff members pledged their commitment to our safety practices by signing the pledge, reinforcing our collective dedication to maintaining a safe and secure environment. Upon pledging to our safety standards, each person also received a Safety Pledge Button to show their commitment to our practices!
A heartfelt thank you to our Safety Committee for organizing and coordinating these events. Your efforts have made a significant impact in our communities, promoting safety awareness and education. Here’s to continuing our mission of ensuring safety for everyone in our community!
